Dontavius Turner is a man of many talents. Being a musician, composer and producer are the talents used the most. Dontavius had the pleasure of recreating “ Aint Nothing Like The Love” ,a tune co-written by SoulMusic.com and SoulMusic Records’ founder, David Nathan.  Turner’s version includes vocals by the late Phillip Ballou, one of the other co-writers, best known for his work as one of Luther Vandross’ premier background and session vocalists.

Dontavius found out about this song watching a Canadian DJ/producer Pomo Beats, who had a sampled version of the song on YouTube (as “Ain’t Nothing”)  in 2017.  When Dontavius Turner heard it, he made a video of it and when Nathan saw the clip, he contacted Turner. “I was blown away by what Dontavius had done with our little song! I immediately thought of George Benson, 1976!   Dontavius agreed to cut it using Phillip Ballou’s original version and he’s done an amazing job.”  Ballou’s full version was also released in 2017 in the UK as a vinyl only-limited edition by SuperDiscoEdits, making a total of three releases within the span of six months for a song that lay buried for decades. “I guess the moral of the story: a good song never dies!” concludes Nathan.

Dontavius (DT) has also had the pleasure of being apart of several plays and tours, one of the most notable being “Set It Off” directed by Je’Caryous Johnson (2018).

Dontavius has released his first musical album called “Continuation” in February 2019 with features by fellow musician Isaiah Hill. Dontavius’s second project was released in August 2019, named “Music Pt 1”. Throughout his musical career Dontavius has had the honor of sharing the stage with many gospel artists such as: Dorthy Norwood, Trey Mclaughlin, Richard Smallwood, Lashaun Pace, Paul Porter, The Georgia Mass Choir and many more.

Aside from music, Dontavius has begun to get into something a little different. Gaming! He has begun to stream games during his free time and is currently working to achieve certain goals professionally.
